Ask Allie Anything: Your Nonprofit Legal Questions Answered

This event took place on Wednesday, November 20th, 2024. Watch the recording now & stay tuned for additional “Ask Allie Anything” events.

About this event:

This past September, Allie Levene joined us to discuss consent as it pertains to nonprofit storytelling. As an Attorney at Levene Legal, Allie has first-hand experience working with nonprofits in Connecticut through the intricate and nuanced requirements of the law. In our 60 short minutes together, she shared a mountain of knowledge with event attendees – things our team at MemoryFox has simply never considered before!

Our top takeaway? We learned that we have a LOT more to learn.

So, we’re bringing Allie Levene back for a jam-packed, 60 minute, 1-on-1 discussion with Carly Euler. In this “Ask Allie Anything” event, Carly will pose your biggest legal questions to Allie. Questions submitted by nonprofit professionals like YOU. For example:

  • “What should or MUST be included on storytelling consent forms?”
  • “How should storytelling consent forms for youth differ from those for adults?”
  • “What are the risks associated with not collecting storytelling consent?”
  • “How can you maintain consent from participants who you may not be easily able to contact again?”
  • “What should I do if my storyteller has passed away? Can I still use their story?”

This is a must-attend event! Don’t miss your chance to have your question answered by a nonprofit attorney who is truly overflowing with knowledge.
