Meet The Panelists:
Floyd Jones is the founder of BackBlack, a multi-platform initiative that has raised over $1.3M for 770 Black-led nonprofits. Throughout his career, Floyd has built social impact communities globally, raising over $20M for grassroots organizations and speaking at over 50 conferences across America. His work has been featured by ESPN, AfroTech, Variety, and Wired magazine, and has been sponsored by NIKE, Whole Foods, VISA, NBA2k, and more. Floyd continues to serve as a business coach and strategist, helping creators, nonprofits, and purpose-driven companies scale their community-led growth strategies.
Kylie Lyman directs Horizons National’s marketing and communication efforts in support of both existing and prospective affiliate sites. She is responsible for maintaining HN’s external presence via social media, newsletters, HN and affiliate websites, and written marketing materials, as well as supporting internal Network communications and affiliate resource development and sharing. Kylie previously served as the AmeriCorps VISTA Associate for Horizons National and Horizons at Norwalk Community College. Kylie received a B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Redlands (CA).
Josefina V. Casati (she/her/ella)is Senior Director of Communications at G4GC, the primary philanthropic intermediary dedicated to mobilizing philanthropy to abundantly resource girls and gender non-conforming youth of Color in the U.S. As a social justice advocate, content strategist, and award-winning journalist, she is committed to amplifying and preserving the wisdom and contributions of marginalized communities.
Kristin Sukraw is an award-winning professional storyteller, executive producer, licensed professional counselor, and national speaker. She is author of the new ground-breaking book StoryFind: the Handbook for Finding and Telling Your Nonprofit’s Most Impactful Stories. Kristin’s client roster includes organizations such as World Vision, International Rescue Committee and Homes for Our Troops. Her favorite thing is to help them bring their stories to life and help them accomplish their fundraising goals.
